When things sit right, even the basics feel like breakthroughs.
Luteal Cycle: Day 23 Location: Home – Desk Context: Feeling decisive in different approaches to keep my projects in sight after having clarity on making my planner work for me once and for all, and not the other way around
🧠 Thought Stream
[strategic planning thought]: So, Gail, let’s try these tips in making you eat better AND apply visualization in your daily execution of your main tasks. These are great and valuable insights: First, listing and tracking what you want to eat BEFORE you eat it. Not restricting anything you want to eat. But the RULE: write it first before eating it. (@5:52).
[excited reflection thought]: Wow, that’s very interesting. It is fun and not unreachable. I like that I’m not “forced” to be restrictive. Yeah, I like that it sounds like a FLEXIBLE DIETING, but not really. Just mentally flexible to me.
[experimental thought]: We can try for dinner tonight! Just right after exercising!
[implementation curiosity thought]: Second, that I’m interested in implementing is visualizing what could go wrong or obstacles in executing the tasks and find a workable and humanly solution as possible AND tie to my identity.
[timing realization thought]: Hmm somehow, I’ve read and learned about it but it seems like at this right moment it sits well with you.
[book exploration thought]: I’m also interested in reading his book, Feel-Good Productivity for something in particular in how he’s executing a 90-day plan versus the 4–6 week plan from Tara McMullin’s What Works.
[motivational anchor thought]: I’m at a place of making this work once and for all. As Vincent Chan reminds in his YouTube post: “Do the basics.” Working out and learning to eat better are all basics. Ah, I needed to hear this over and over again until it drills my brain right.
[satisfied thought]: Overall, I am totally satisfied with what I’ve learned today. Small tips, small nudges are helping me feel encouraged to do it again, to try it again.
[associative delight thought]: Yes, Groundhog Day movie theme, right? I love that movie.
[encouraging thought]: Let’s do this, Gail! Let’s go!
