The Evolution of Aspirations: Reflections on a Year-Old Note

[surprised thought]: where the fuck did I read this? LOL!
[clarifying thought]: you mean, get those ideas?
[feeling]: confused, suprised
[feeling]: dumb-founded
[body]: stress response
[perspective thought]: sometimes, and (maybe) most of the times, our current, the today, is what matters. Surviving another year means each day’s experiences build (you) up. Experiences, thoughts will change. You are at a different phase now.

[reflective thought]: there’s danger in being exposed to a kind of thinking of somewhat competitiveness. i really don’t know what’s my mental status and environment were that pushed me to be this kind of person. the why is missing.
[contextualizing thought]: hmmm it’s really interesting. it seems you were playing at a game of scarcity. what is there to prove. oh well, we’re forgetting you were and is still is a newcomer. navigating best in a new world, new culture, cultivating a new identity. so, i say, these are normal part of adulting, of growing up. we are all still growing up and relearning and learning.
[appreciative thought]: the progress of thinking and experiences in one year’s time is astounding and impressive. so i say, keep doing what it is you’re doing now. in one year time, you will be amazed how far you’ve come….
[shifting thought]: thinking of fitness and health …
[feelings]: inspired
[body]: eustress
[philosophical thought]: (continue)… thoughts and beliefs and thinking models are build up and replaced. it’s really beautiful and somewhat devastating at one corner if you think about it.
[observant thought]: what i like about this entry’s last year was you were able to document your plans but never came to fruition. not in a bad way or negative way but im talking about the current state of mind on March 28, 2024. anything can happen.
[grateful thought]: yes i agree. glad i captured this “planning thought”…
[body]: sigh
[feelings]: tired
[concluding thought]: it’s too much thinking about this now. enough. i have to review CELPIP now.
[body]: deep sigh
